What We Do (And Don't)

We provide end-to-end technology solutions. This includes everything from the initial needs assessment and planning to implementation, testing, and long-term support. All of our solutions are developed in-house, and we have an expansive library of past work that allows us to provide robust solutions on time and on budget.

We know our limitations, and if we don't have the resources necessary to solve your problem, we will either work with one of our partners or we will pass on the project. Rest assured that any solution that comes from us is built by experts.

We will assess your needs and determine which, if any, of our services can be used cost-effectively to solve your problem.

Current service offerings include:

Web Applications

Web Applications are software solutions that run on a central server and can be accessed with no more software than the ubiquitous web browser. Web Applications provide several advantages over the traditional client/server application model:

  • Accessibility: Web Applications can be accessed from anywhere in the world, around the clock, with nothing more than a web browser and dial-up Internet connection.
  • Training: Most of your employees and customers are already familiar with the web. Very little training is required when standard interfaces are used; for more complicated applications, the rich nature of the Web allows hand-holding and real-time training.
  • No New Software: It's hard to find a computer that does not have a web browser.
  • No New Hardware: Since Web Apps usually reside on a central server, the burden of supporting the infrastructure, including security and backups, is on someone else.

We do not offer "web design" services in the traditional sense. In all but the simplest cases, we will work with an outside designer to come up with graphics that fit the application we are building. That way, we can focus on what we do best -- building the application -- without being distracted by things like logos, colors, and typefaces.

Web Services

A Web Service is simply an extension of a Web Application that allows other programs to access the data.

Desktop Applications

A Web-based solution does not fit every problem. When that's the case, we can provide traditional desktop client/server and stand-alone desktop applications. When global accessibility is required, desktop applications can be tied over the Internet to a Web Service.

Application Hosting

Good software is nothing without a good home -- and we can provide both. We own a farm of HP servers that are located in a locked cage at a tier-one data center. We've taken all the necessary steps to ensure your solution is always fast and secure:

  • Nightly tape backups (rotated offsite weekly)
  • Redundant connectivity, electricity, and HVAC
  • Fire suppression and 24/7 security
  • 24/7 application-level monitoring
  • Cisco and NetScreen switches and firewalls
  • Cold spares of all equipment on hand in case of failure or load issues

If our hosting solution does not meet your requirements, we can work with a hosting provider of your choice, or we can host and manage your equipment at our facilities.

Other Services

Other services we offer:

  • E-mail Hosting
  • Web Site Hosting
  • Domain Name Registration and Hosting
  • SSL Certificate Registration
  • Electronic Payment Processing
